There's never a shortage of stuff to do in NYC. Here are just two things for sports/music fanatics this week.
NFL Kickoff (Thursday at 3PM)
While on the West Side for Letterman today, I stumbled upon crews preparing for a free concert in the middle of Columbus Circle. It's for the annual NFL Kickoff event, featuring Usher, Natasha Bedingfield and Keith Urban.
US Open Live at Madison Square Park (Now - Sunday)
The picture below says it all. Watch the Open live on a large screen with several hundred others in a park. Pretty neat. Oh, and it's brought to you by American Express (you're welcome Nora ;)
UPDATE: While in Midtown for the Agassi event, I noticed another US Open Live spot at Rockefeller Center.
