FOOD ON THE RUN

Besides a few exceptional meals in North Carolina and Jacksonville, most of what I've consumed over the last four weekends while filming on location hasn't been too healthy or wholesome. Much of it has come from drive-thru windows, airport newstands, and convenience stores.

I took a photo of (almost) everything I ate on location. The idea came from Tucker Shaw's book, Everything I Ate, where he photographs everything he eats for a year.

Quite the contrast to my diet just two years ago when I was trying to hit a certain weight for the Chicago Marathon. Back then the daily menu consisted of boiled pasta with salt, turkey burgers with brocolli, Clif bars, apples, and tons of Gatorade. Maybe it's time to train for another marathon.
